Rashad Assir

Rashad is Head of Content at Redpoint Ventures. In 2022, Rashad (@corporayshid) made a hobby into his full time job, observing and commenting on the subtle mundanities of Corporate America, Dating and general social life as a millennial. In December of 2021, Redpoint Ventures found him on IG and recruited him to join and apply the same style of satire / observational comedy to the small but absurd world of VC. Rashad is consistently reposted by some of the largest comedy accounts (@betches, @9gag, etc) and now writes / edits / produces daily shortform sketch videos commenting on all things tech, VC, and corporate culture. Video production has also expanded beyond satire/sketch – Rashad his helping Redpoint investors and portco’s reimagine traditionally boring corporate-y content into something fresh and authentic that cuts through the noise (e.g. our new funding announcement videos). Besides making millions of people on the internet laugh, Rashad is trying to send a message to be more original and stop taking ourselves too seriously.
