Coronation Street is lining up another dramatic week, as confirmed in my new pictures, with the aftermath of the crash sending shockwaves through the cobbles and a looming presence leaves the residents on edge.
Rob Donovan’s (Marc Baylis) whereabouts remain unknown, with DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) determined to protect her loved ones at all costs, insisting that they don’t go out alone until the villain is apprehended.
The detective, however, gets the shock of her life when she discovers that Betsy’s (Sydney Martin) bed hasn’t been slept in.
She is awash with relief when Betsy eventually returns home – and she reiterates to the teen not to be going out on her own while Rob is on the loose.
Betsy, however, sneaks out once again – and she becomes aware that she’s being followed when at the precinct. As she makes a run for it, we discover that it’s Rob watching her!
Wil Betsy make it to safety?
Sorry, this video isn't available any more.
Later in the week, Carla Connor (Alison King) is left reeling when Lisa confirms that a body has been found near the hospital – and they suspect it might be Rob.
Carla is asked to identify him and prepares to do just that.
The question is: are the police correct with their theory? Is the deceased actually Rob? If not, where is he?

Elsewhere on the Street, Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) share an emotional farewell as the former prepares to leave the cobbles.
More Trending
Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver), meanwhile, finds Julie (Katy Cavanagh) discussing funerals with George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) and demands to know what’s going on.
It’s going to be an emotional week, that’s for sure!
