It’s Christmas time, the online games are sprucing up and attracting with new events. So also Call of Duty: Warzone. An event named Festive Fervor will start there in a few days.
Call of Duty: Warzone Festive Fervor starts on December 17th at 6 a.m. following a new update. Unsurprisingly, the seasonal event brings you a series of new challenges with special rewards. This includes, among other things, an LMG blueprint, but also cosmetic items and battle pass tiers.
In addition, the caldera is decorated with decorated fir trees, which are marked with a special symbol on the map. If a squad stays near them for some time, supply boxes will spawn, including special Christmas boxes that can contain legendary items or time-limited rewards.
But they can also contain charcoal and that has side effects. Krampus makes Caldera and Rebirth Island unsafe and whoever has money in their pockets is more likely to be attacked by him than other players. However, if your squad manages to take down Krampus, there will be permanent rewards. You can also find gnomes on the maps that give you double XP tokens and more if you rivet them down. Well then, Merry Christmas.
Conveniently, the event starts parallel to a planned free weekend for the multiplayer mode, which is to run from December 16 to 21.
Activision gives the starting signal for a winter event in Call of Duty: Vanguard and in the battle royale spin-off Warzone.
